The Olympia LVR Ice Leveling System is designed to automatically control the cutting blade in the Olympia ice conditioner so as to achieve a level ice playing surface. The system is comprised of a Laser Command Center which produces a level ceiling of light as a reference, a Receiving System that tracks the ceiling of light and a Control System that automatically adjust the cutting system to the proper height to level the ice surface. The system is totally automatic and therefore the ice maintenance is being maintained continually during each and every resurfacing operation. Paint layers are now at known levels, which means clear, crisp lines and logos. Ice depths are now maintained which transfers into energy cost savings throughout the skating season.
